The solution

MULTILIGHT provides standardised lighting conditions for visual colour-matching – independent of the time of day or the season. MULTILIGHT is a modern colour-matching booth with which reproducible results acc. to DIN, ISO, ASTM, BS, CIE, M & S etc., are achieved, accomplishing quality assurance within the tolerances agreed between the customer and the manufacturer.

Our product range

MULTILIGHT is available in two different chamber widths

•   460 mm - ( ML 1)  
•   460 mm - ( ML 1) ( Portable )                                                     
•   600 mm– (ML 2) and
• 1,500 mm– (ML 5), with up to five illuminants, depending on the model.

• Choose from :

• Artificial daylight – D 65, D 75, D 50,
• Department store lighting TL 84 ,      
• Dusk A,
• UV light,
• CWF, WWF light, or as specified by the customer.
• Special electronics make it possible to switch between the illuminants – without any warming-up, flickering or flashing. The full colour temperature is on hand immediately, greatly simplifying the colour-matching process. The burning life of the lamps is monitored by a time-meter. The recommended burning life is 2,000 hours. The MULTILIGHT comes in neutral colouring as prescribed in the relevant standard. An additional light-scattering panel can be inserted below the light source. Our colour-testing booths are available in table-top or suspended versions.

MULTILIGHT SL colour-matching lamp

In contrast to the MULTILIGHT ML colour-matching booth, the MULTILIGHT colour-matching lamp is equipped with only one type of illuminant. There are four fluorescent lamps (light source as selected by customer, e.g. D50, D65, etc.) to choose from. The illuminated area is covered with a light-scattering panel.

The MULTILIGHT SL is available as a SUSPENSION LAMP for hanging from the ceiling or as a TABLE-TOP VERSION fitted with levelling feet.

..... when colour and GLOSS unite

The innovative Multi-angle Inspection Table (MIT 1001) was developed specifically for visual colour-matching on SPECIAL-EFFECT SURFACES; e.g. metallic, pearlescent, structured, etc., in fact wherever finishes with a gloss effect are to be tested.

This 3-D test table functions on the principle of a goniophotometer which can be moved in all degrees of freedom by means of a scaled pivot device. Colour differences and flop effects are precisely defined and can be read off digitally with an accuracy of < one degree. An adjustable eyepiece focuses the tester’s eye below 45°. The MIT inspection table can be set up in all standard colour-matching booths.
